Construction/ Temporary Heat
Temporary heating with propane is every Project
Manager's savior! Temporary heat allows construction projects to maintain production through the cold weather when
they do not have the availability to use natural gas. Whether it is concrete pours, taping, or helping the paint dry,
we do it all! No job is too big or small for Country Gas & Suburban Gas Service.
A temporary heat consultant will come out to you and analyze your site to optimize the location of
the tanks and evaluate your needs. They will also work out a delivery schedule upon request to make sure the propane
flows without any interruptions.
The storage equipment most commonly used
for temporary heat are bulk tanks and 100 lb cylinders.
- Bulk
tanks- Large steel containers that contain anywhere from 124 to 1000 gallons of propane. These tanks must be
delivered to your site. (Typically used on medium to large BTU jobs)
- 100
lb cylinders- Smaller steel portable cylinders. These cylinders can be picked up at our facility or delivered
to your site. (Typically used for jobs with space restrictions and the need for mobility)
- Vaporizers- A piece of equipment that can create more vapor faster than a bulk
tank can create on it's own. (Typically used on jobs that require more than 2 million BTUs)
